I am a member of several professional organizations, including Lions Club International Masaka, St. John's Church Kijjabwemi Masaka, Uganda Medical Association (UMA), and the College of Ophthalmology of Eastern, Central, and Southern Africa (COECSA).
World allover research is one sector that is more needed by all institutions in order to improve performance and efficiency. since 2002 i have actively participated in researching in areas of Ophthalmic Epidemiology, Health Policy and Planning
In my role as an educator, I've effectively shared knowledge by teaching at various medical institutions. I served as a Lecturer at KIU Medical School in Ophthalmology, conducted part-time tutoring at Masaka School of Comprehensive Nursing, and also provided part-time tutoring at Jinja Ophthalmic Clinical Officer’s School. Additionally, I've contributed as an external examiner in these capacities.
I offer expert consultancy services in medical management, addressing a range of eye emergencies, conducting examinations, consultations, surgeries, and laser treatments. My expertise extends to treating various eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, refractive surgery, and other ocular ailments.
In 2020, I was appointed as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Equator University of Science and Technology, located in the center of Masaka City. The faculty encompasses a diverse range of disciplines including MBChB, Dental Surgery, Information Technology, and Business Administration.
Am trained to diagnose, monitor, and medically or surgically treat all eyelid and orbital problems affecting the eye and visual pathways and to diagnose, monitor and treat all eye and visual disorders.
My priority is to deliver quality care to patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. We use the latest technology to diagnose and treat a range of eye conditions, including cataract and retinal diseases
The many years of work and training in Ophthalmology, Management and Community Eye Health disciplines have provided me with excellent practical hands on knowledge, skills and attitude necessary.
